The SPG Pro program for Travel Professional has launched Bring On The Bonus-promotion for bookings made for others.
SPG Pro members are eligible to earn 500 bonus points per stay for up to 10,000 Starpoints after 20 eligible stays consumed between January 17 – April 15, 2017.

Note that stays must be both booked and consumed between January 17 – April 15, 2017, to be eligible for the bonus. The SPG Pro member must register for this promotion by the expiration date.
Conclusion
This is a nice bonus for SPG Pro program members that book stay for others. It will be interesting to see if this program survives into 2018.

Eligibility: Must be an SPG® Pro Travel Professional who has certified to the SPG Pro terms and conditions and can accept Starpoints for booking on behalf of others and have active status to participate in this promotion.
Registration: Members must register online at spg.com/bringonthebonus by 11:59 p.m. eastern time (ET) on April 15, 2017. Registered members can earn bonus Starpoints® for eligible client stays that are booked and occur between January 17, 2017, and April 15, 2017 (the “Promotion Period”), at any of the more than 1,300 hotels and resorts in the SPG program.
Earning: Registered members can earn 500 bonus Starpoints for every eligible booking made on behalf of the member’s clients whose stays are booked and occur between January 17, 2017, and April 15, 2017, at any of the more than 1,300 hotels and resorts in the SPG program. A maximum of 10,000 bonus Starpoints can be earned during the Promotion Period (20 awards). All qualified completed bookings made during the Promotion Period will be counted toward earning bonus Starpoints regardless of one’s promotion registration date. Only bookings made and consumed during the Promotion Period are eligible.
Bonusing: Bonus Starpoints will post to the registered member’s account within 2–4 weeks of each eligible client booking posting to the member’s account.
Participating Properties: All 1,300+ hotels and resorts worldwide that participate in the SPG program are participating in this promotion. This includes our 11 brands: Sheraton®, Westin®, St. Regis®, The Luxury Collection®, W®, Le Méridien®, Design Hotels™, Tribute Portfolio™, ElementSM, Aloft® and Four Points®.
Eligible Bookings: A completed booking is defined as one made by the SPG Pro Travel Professional that results in a stay by a traveler other than himself or herself, with eligible nights that fall within the Promotion Period. An eligible night is defined as at least one night paying an eligible rate in the Promotion Period. An eligible stay is defined as a stay having at least one night in the Promotion Period. A complete booking must meet all requirements set forth by the SPG program. Descriptions of SPG-participating hotels and resorts, Eligible Bookings and Eligible Channels can be found at spg.com under Terms & Conditions of the SPG Program. See Section 10.1 for the complete definition of SPG Pro Travel Professional Booking and SPG Pro Travel Professional Channel. Consecutive bookings for this offer will not be honored. A consecutive booking is when checkouts and check-ins occur the same day in the same hotel for the same guest. A minimum stay of one night is required. A maximum of 90 days applies. SPG Pro Travel Professional must include his or her valid SPG Pro member number in the reservation at the time of booking to qualify to earn bonus Starpoints.
