I was looking at this partnership, as I will likely take some Emirates flights in October and don’t have any status with the airline. They used to partner with Alaska, but that has now ended.

BY REGISTERING IN YOUR WORLD REWARDS™ WITH MARRIOTT BONVOY AND EMIRATES SKYWARDS®, YOU AGREE TO THE YOUR WORLD REWARDS TERMS.
These terms and conditions (the “Your World Rewards Terms”) govern Your World Rewards with Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards (“Your World Rewards”). By registering for Your World Rewards (a “Your World Rewards Participant”) and receiving and redeeming benefits of Your World Rewards including, without limitation, Points in the Marriott Bonvoy programme (“Points”) and Skywards Miles in the Emirates Skywards programme, each registrant agrees that he/she has read, understood and accepted these Your World Rewards Terms. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards may at any time amend, modify or supplement these Your World Rewards Terms, and continued participation in Your World Rewards will constitute a Your World Rewards Participant’s acceptance of any such amendment, modification or supplementation.
1. REGISTERING FOR YOUR WORLD REWARDS.
- 1.1 Eligibility. Registration for Your World Rewards requires existing active membership in both the Marriott Bonvoy programme and the Emirates Skywards programme and that an individual’s membership accounts in both programmes are under the same name. Membership into both programmes may be obtained for free at your-world-rewards.marriott.com and emirates.com/ywr-register.
- 1.2 Limitations on Eligibility. If a Member has elected to receive Emirates Skywards Miles (as opposed to Points) for hotel stays, such Member may not register for Your World Rewards unless the Member agrees to opt out of receiving Miles and reverts his earning preference to Points.
- 1.3 Registration. An individual may register for Your World Rewards through your-world-rewards.marriott.com or emirates.com/ywr-register only.
- 1.4 Timing.
- 1.4.a. Registration. An eligible Your World Rewards Participant will not be able to earn Skywards Miles, earn Points or receive Your World Rewards benefits under these Your World Rewards Terms (regardless of eligibility), until 48 hours after registration is completed.
- A Your World Rewards Participant that successfully registered for Your World Rewards at least 48 hours prior to checking out of a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property will earn Skywards Miles if the Your World Rewards Participant meets the requirements of Section 2, regardless of the date on which the Stay was booked.
- A Your World Rewards Participant that successfully registered for Your World Rewards at least 48 hours prior to taking an Eligible Flight will earn Points if the Your World Rewards Participant meets the requirements of Section 3, regardless of the date on which the Eligible Flight was booked.
- 1.4.b. Posting. Any Points earned through Your World Rewards will post to an Emirates Skywards Member’s Marriott Bonvoy Account within 4 to 6 weeks after the Eligible Flight is completed. Any Skywards Miles earned through Your World Rewards will post to Marriott Bonvoy Member’s Emirates Skywards membership account within 2 to 4 weeks after Points post for the Stay.
- 1.5 Programme Terms.
- 1.5.a. Marriott Bonvoy programme. Unless otherwise specified in these Your World Rewards Terms, the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules apply to Your World Rewards.
- 1.5.b. Emirates Skywards Programme. Unless otherwise specified in these Your World Rewards Terms, the terms and conditions of the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules apply to Your World Rewards.
- 1.6 Member Numbers. An eligible Your World Rewards Participant will only be able to earn Skywards Miles, earn Points or receive Your World Rewards benefits under these Your World Rewards Terms: (a) for Qualifying Stays if the reservation includes the Your World Rewards Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number; and (b) for Eligible Flights if the reservation includes the Your World Rewards Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number.
- 1.7 Definitions. A Your World Rewards Participant who is an Emirates Skywards Silver Member, Emirates Skywards Gold Member or Emirates Skywards Platinum Member in the Emirates Skywards programme will earn one Skywards Mile for every one US dollar or its foreign equivalent denomination spent on Qualifying Rates during Qualifying Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties in addition to earning 3 Points per one US dollar or its foreign equivalent denomination spent in accordance with the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules if the reservation includes the Your World Reward Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number.
- 2.2 Emirates Skywards Blue Members. An Emirates Skywards Blue member will not earn Skywards Miles through Your World Rewards for Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.
- 2.3 Other Hotel Charges. A Your World Rewards Participant will earn Skywards Miles only for Qualifying Rates during Qualifying Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties, and will not earn Skywards Miles for any other Qualifying Charges at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties (e.g., food and beverage charges, laundry, valet) incurred by a Your World Rewards Participant during a Qualifying Stay.
3. EARNING POINTS.
- 3.1 Eligible Flights and Eligible Fares. For purposes of Your World Rewards: (1) an “Eligible Flight” means each segment on any Emirates operated and marketed flight with an EK code. and (2) an “Eligible Fare” means any fare for an eligible flight that earns Skywards Miles under the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules. Eligible fares exclude staff tickets, reward tickets, and other promotional tickets.
- 3.2 Emirates Flights. A Your World Rewards Participant who is a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member will earn three Points for every one US dollar or its foreign equivalent denomination spend on Eligible Fares (excluding taxes, fees and surcharges) on Eligible Flights in addition to earning Skywards Miles in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules if the reservation includes the Your World Rewards Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number.
4. ELITE BENEFITS.
- 4.1 Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.
- 4.1.a. Qualifying Stays. A Your World Rewards Participant who has Emirates Skywards Gold or Emirates Skyward Platinum status in the Emirates Skywards programme will receive the following Elite benefits during Qualifying Stays at a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property if the reservation includes the Your World Reward Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number:
- The ability to use the Elite check-in line that is used by Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite and Platinum Elite Members;
- 4 p.m. Late checkout, subject to availability at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties; and
- Complimentary guest room enhanced Internet access.
- 4.1.b. Restrictions. All services, amenities and benefits provided under Section 4.1.a, are subject to availability and subject to the terms and conditions of each Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property. Not all services, amenities and benefits are offered at all Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.
- 4.1.c. No Incremental Benefits. A Your World Rewards Participant who qualifies for Elite benefits pursuant to Section 4.1.a and who is a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member will not receive incremental benefits under this Section 4.1, except that a Gold Elite Member will receive bonus Points as an Elite Welcome Gift as per the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules. A Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member may choose an Elite Welcome Gift (Points, breakfast offering or amenity) as per the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules.
- 4.2 Eligible Flights.
- 4.2.a. Eligible Flights. A Your World Rewards Participant who is a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, or Ambassador Elite Member will receive the following Elite benefits with Eligible Flights if the reservation includes the Your World Rewards Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number:
- Priority check-in at designated check-in counters;
- Priority boarding on Eligible Flights for the Your World Rewards Participant only.
- 4.2.b. No Incremental Benefits. A Your World Rewards Participant who qualifies for Elite benefits pursuant to Section 4.2.a and who is also an Emirates Skywards Silver Member, Emirates Skywards Gold Member, or Emirates Skywards Platinum Member in the Emirates Skywards programme will not receive incremental benefits under this Section 4.2.
5. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION IN YOUR WORLD REWARDS.
- 5.1 Termination by a Your World Rewards Participant. A Your World Rewards Participant may terminate his/her participation in Your World Rewards at any time by opting out of Your World Rewards by calling Marriott Bonvoy Member Support or delinking their account by visiting airline-partner.marriott.com
- 5.2 Termination by Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards may suspend Your World Rewards benefits or terminate a Your World Rewards Participant’s ability to participate in Your World Rewards at any time with immediate effect and without written notice, for any reason and in their sole discretion including, without limitation, if:
- 5.2.a. The Your World Rewards Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Member Account or Emirates Skywards membership account has been suspended or terminated for any reason;
- 5.2.b. The Your World Rewards Participant no longer has active membership in the Marriott Bonvoy programme and existing membership in the Emirates Skywards programme; or
- 5.2.c.
- Marriott Bonvoy or Emirates believes the Your World Rewards Participant has: Violated the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules or the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules;
- Acted in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws, regulations and ordinances;
- Failed to pay any hotel bill when due to Marriott International, Inc. or a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property or failed to fulfil a Marriott Vacation Club, Marriott Grand Residence Club or Vistana financial obligation;
- Acted in an inappropriate, fraudulent, abusive or hostile manner;
- Breached or violated any of these Your World Rewards Terms; or
- Engaged in any misconduct or wrongdoing in connection with Your World Rewards.
6. OTHER PRINCIPLES.
- 6.1 Modification of Your World Rewards. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates may change the Your World Rewards Terms at any time, for any reason and without notice.
- 6.2 Termination of Your World Rewards. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates may terminate Your World Rewards at any time. A Your World Rewards Participant may not earn Points for Eligible Flights, or Skywards Miles for Qualifying Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties, or claim Your World Rewards benefits after the termination of Your World Rewards.
- 6.3 Benefits Subject to Availability and Modification. All Your World Rewards benefits, amenities, offers, awards and services are subject to availability and may be changed at any time without notice.
- 6.4 No Sale or Transfer. Your World Rewards benefits may not be sold, bartered or transferred (other than by Marriott Bonvoy, Emirates Skywards or their respective agents). Any attempted transfer, sale or barter will be void. Marriott Bonvoy, Emirates Skywards and their partners may refuse to honour or recognize any benefits which such party believes may have been transferred, sold or bartered.
- 6.5 Your World Rewards Participant Data. Emirates Skywards and Marriott Bonvoy may each receive data regarding Your World Rewards Participants from the other party including, without limitation, names, Marriott Bonvoy Account information, and Emirates Skywards programme account information.
- 6.5.a. Emirates Skywards may receive data regarding Your World Rewards Participants from Marriott Bonvoy, which may be used by Emirates Skywards in connection with Your World Rewards including, without limitation, to verify account information, award Skywards Miles in the Emirates Skywards programme, and provide Your World Rewards Elite benefits. The data provided to Emirates Skywards from Marriott Bonvoy may include a Your World Reward Participant’s first name, last name, title, and Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number, Marriott Bonvoy tier, Marriott Bonvoy tier expiry date and will be used by Emirates Skywards in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules and Privacy Policy.
- 6.5.b. Marriott Bonvoy may receive data regarding Your World Rewards Participants from Emirates Skywards which may be used by Marriott Bonvoy in connection with Your World Rewards including, without limitation, to verify account information, to award Points, and to enable Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties to provide Your World Rewards Elite benefits. The data provided to Marriott Bonvoy from Emirates Skywards may include a Your World Reward Participant’s first name, last name, title, Emirates Skywards membership number, Emirates Skywards membership tier, flight ticket number, cabin class and flight date and will be used by Marriott Bonvoy in accordance with the Marriott Bonvoy Privacy Statement.
- 6.6 No Warranties or Representations, Express or Implied. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates make no warranties or representations, either expressed or implied with respect to type, quality or fitness of goods or services provided through Your World Rewards.
- 6.7 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold Marriott Bonvoy, Emirates, Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these terms and conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
- 6.8 Waiver. Waiver of any breach of these Your World Rewards Terms by any Your World Rewards Participant will not constitute a waiver of any other prior or subsequent breach of these Your World Rewards Terms.
- 6.9 Limitation of Liability. IN NO EVENT WILL MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL, INC., EMIRATES OR ANY Marriott Bonvoy PARTICIPATING PROPERTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, WHICH ARISE OUT OF OR ARE IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR WORLD REWARDS OR THESE YOUR WORLD REWARDS TERMS.
- 6.10 Choice of Law and Venue. disputes arising out of or related to Your World Rewards or these Your World Rewards Terms will be handled individually without any class action, and will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales without regard to its conflicts of law rules. The exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or action arising out of or relating to these Your World Rewards Terms or the Your World Rewards with Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards programme may be filed only in England and Wales.
- 6.11 Trademarks. Your World Rewards, Marriott Bonvoy and their respective logos are the trademarks of Marriott International, Inc. or its affiliates. Emirates and Emirates Skywards are the trademarks of Emirates.
