I would wait few months to see where the rates settle. Hotels always open/reopen at higher rates (high hopes for the rates) and slowly come down what market bears.

This IC, the Conrad, many of the nicer Marriott properties were all about $150 in 2019. Bangkok was known for nicer hotels at moderate rates. I guess not anymore.
