IHG has launched another Points.com-powered points selling tool that it promotes as Boos Your Points, but in essence, it is a points accelerator for a price.
You can double, triple, or quadruple the recently-earned points, but obviously for a price. This is a targeted offer valid through July 31, 2023.
You can access IHG’s page for buying points here.

Note that these points purchases are handled by Canadian company Points.com and the charges won’t come through as an IHG spent.

Boost Your Points Options:
You can boost the points you recently earned at 35%, 45%, or 55% off, but the price is still higher than during frequent sales.
Price Of Tripling Points:
The price of a point is 0.52 cents each when they cost 0.5 cents during frequent 100% purchase bonus sales.
Conclusion
This is just another way for IHG to market its points sales without using the word sale or bonus. You can instead “boost” your points.
Points.com have had these boost-your-points offers with several airlines, and they tend not to be as popular as straight sales, which may have something to do with the price charged.
You can now buy IHG One Rewards points:
1. Cash + Points Awards (you are essentially buying points that will stay in your account in case you cancel the reservation)
2. Points Sales (that happen almost monthly and often have the purchase limit raised)
3. Boost Your Points Accelerator (newly launched)
4. Yearly through US Travel Association’s Daily Getaways
Plus, bonus points packages are often available when you book IHG hotels.
